Welcome to worship!

Marvin is one church offering two different styles of worship. Come to the sanctuary* for traditional services or to the worship center for modern services, both at 8:30 and 11 a.m. each Sunday.

Traditional Worship

Traditional services are beautiful, rich in tradition and liturgy. Worshipers gather each Sunday morning in the historic stained-glass sanctuary* where they enjoy the awe-inspiring pipe organ accompanying hymns and anthems. The Chancel Choir leads 11 o'clock services and  Laude Chorum, a chorus of students, often leads the early service.

*Note: Traditional worship is temporarily in Pirtle Hall while the sanctuary is prepared for installation of our new pipe organ. Services are scheduled to return to the sanctuary in mid-September.

Core Worship

Core worshipers experience the transforming presence of the Holy Spirit in a fresh way. Core is an informal service with modern worship music and features relevant biblical messages.
