Ventures is a group of adults (mainly senior adults but everyone's invited!) who travel together, mostly day trips with occasional overnight journeys, and have other special events. Tour one of the most scenic and beautiful lakes in the South. Caddo Lake is approximately 26,000 acres of bald cypress trees, Spanish moss, abundant wildlife and scenery that you will never forget. The lake has swamps, bayous and river ways that create a one-of-a-kind experience.
We will stop for lunch at Big Pines Lodge Restaurant on Caddo Lake where we will enjoy the best home-cooked catfish and hushpuppies on the planet.
Cost is $75 per person, and the registration deadline is Thursday, May 16.
Travel by coach to Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers. Together we will cheer on Rangers as they take on the Chicago White Sox. Registration includes one ticket and one seat on the bus. Cost is $50 per person.
