Read Scripture in 2023

Since the Fall of 2020 well over 250 people have read scripture in community, with over 400 unique plan completions. Our goal is to create easy ways for our members to read scripture with community, helping encourage holy habits.

Use the links provided provided below to join in right where we are.

1. Read through the Psalms in a month using the Psalms plan on the YouVersion app. This online plan gives an audio option and lets you see other Marvin participants’ comments.
BEGINS: May 1 (three to five Psalms a day).
This plan offered at the beginning of each month.

2. Read through the Gospels in 90 days using The Bible Project | Gospels plan. This online plan provides an audio option plus short, informative videos to help frame your reading. You can comment, ask questions and read other Marvin participants' comments.
BEGINS: April 1 (1 chapter a day), ends June 30.
This plan offered at the beginning of each quarter.

3. Read through the Bible cover to cover using The Bible Project | Bible Reading plan. This online plan provides an audio option plus short, informative videos to help frame your reading. You can comment, ask questions and read other Marvin participants' comments.
BEGINS: Jan. 1 (three to five chapters a day), ends Dec. 31. Hosted by David Ward.
