When I arrived at Marvin Methodist Church in July of 2022, I was immediately blown away by the overwhelming love of Christ that permeates throughout the congregation. Before I started serving at Marvin, I graduated from Lamar University with a degree in human development and family studies before heading to Kentucky, where I received my MDiv. from Asbury Theological Seminary.

I believe one of the best ways to share Christ with others is through building relationships. In my experience, I’ve found that not only do I get to tell people the good news of Jesus Christ, but I also get to show them why Jesus is so crucial to my own life by living it out in real time as our friendship grows.

Some of the things I enjoy doing in my free time are powerlifting, playing guitar, volleyball, pickleball, fishing, board games and dabbling in some video games with friends!
