NOAH
Think of Marvin's NOAH ministry as a boat that keeps people afloat during a domestic, medical, transportation or emotional crisis. NOAH is a calm in the storm. NOAH stands for networking, organizing, advocacy and healing. The Missions Office works closely with PATH, the Salvation Army, St. Paul Children’s Foundation and other helping agencies in our community to find the best care for those in crisis situations.
Marvin members and others in our community have turned to this ministry in times of need. All inquiries for assistance are treated confidentially.

This is suspended until further noice due to Covid 19.
Do you like to bake or help those in need? Get out your recipe books! If you have ever had a loved one or even a friend under hospice care, then this ministry speaks for itself. Bring homemade goodies to the staff and visiting families at Hospice of East Texas. This opportunity is provided every month on the first Wednesday or the second Monday at 2 p.m. You are not required to serve every month - only when you can. Contact Shannon Pogue for information.

Lydia Patterson
This program has been canceled for 2020.
Marvin partners with the Lydia Patterson Institute, a 100-year old Methodist high school in El Paso, Texas, supporting scholarships and summer internships for lay ministry students. Each summer student interns come to work at Marvin and St. Paul Children’s Foundation. In order to make this possible we ask for your support in providing homes for students from June to August.
East Texas Mission of Mercy
The Mission of Mercy is a great way to offer medical and spiritual care to those in need. We are a partner in this community-wide effort. Our church provides financial support, transportation, volunteer workers and meals for this tremendous mission outreach.
Methodist Children's Home party
Bring joy to children each Christmas! Every year in December Marvin hosts a Christmas party for the Methodist Children's Home foster children. You can get involved by either helping with the party, purchasing gifts for the children or by making a monetary donation.
