Rule of Life

  • Taught by Jarrett Davis and Marc Donaldson
  • March 1 through 29

A rule of life is a pragmatic and intentional way of living slowly, simply and deeply. The goal is Christ. This class will explore deeper disciplines as we craft our own rule of life. Jarrett Davis and Marc Donaldson will lead the class at 6 p.m. Text the word RULE to 90382 to sign up.

History of Christianity

  • Taught by Robert Hand
  • Jan. 18 to March 29

In recent months we have navigated the parting of the ways of the UMC and the Global Methodist Church. This isn't the first time the church has evolved over time and it won't be the last. Join us as we explore the story of the Christian church from the book of Acts across two millennia to the present day—and look forward in hope to the decades to come.

Catechism for the Global Methodist Church

A catechism is an educative and regulative formulation of church doctrine. The goal of catechesis is to understand, recall, profess and enjoy the church’s essential teachings, which includes the essence of the central theological confessions of the church as well as the essential doctrinal commitments of the GMC denomination.

  • Taught by Jan McCauley
  • Jan. 18 to March 29

Emotionally Healthy Relationships

This powerful eight-week course will equip you with practical tools to really love people in difficult situations and mature into an adult follower of Jesus.

Frank Budde Leadership Initiative

This class is designed to develop Christian leadership in the church and community and provide a small-group experience where skills learned can be discussed. Meetings include lecture, table discussion, leadership application and spiritual exercises to enrich one’s walk with the Lord and one’s servant leadership.

  • Led by Dr. Pat Day and Dr. Doug Baker.
  • Jan. 18 to March 8, in the library
