Lent is a season of 40 days, not counting Sundays, which begins on Ash Wednesday (Feb. 14 this year) and ends on Holy Saturday (before Easter). It is a season of reflection and preparation: We reflect on our need for a Savior and we prepare to celebrate the victory of Christ, raised from the dead on Easter Sunday.
Weekly fast | During the season of Lent many people give something up as an expression of their dependence upon Christ. Additionally, some people take something on. Consider fasting from one meal a week. Rather than eating lunch on Wednesday, come to Midweek communion services and receive the sacrament of holy communion.
Honor or remember loved ones with a gift of Easter lilies to decorate our worship spaces or fans to help people in need.
Pick up an order form around the church or click the button below to order online. Cost is $20 each (add $1 for online orders). The deadline to place your order is March 20.
